Anne Hathaway will be the female protagonist in “The Idea of You”, the romantic story of revenge against stereotypes.
Perhaps not everyone knows that After, Anna Todd‘s book series that later became a successful film saga is not the only literary work inspired by Harry Styles.
Robinne Lee, an actress born in 1974 who appeared in the Fifty Shades series and in Seven Souls alongside Will Smith, was guided by the sly smile and dimples of the former One Direction singer for her editorial debut.
The novel The Idea Of You, still unpublished in Italy, was published on 13 June 2017 by St. Martin‘s Press and was immediately a success in the United States, so much so that it will soon have its television adaptation.

The director will be Michael Showalter, and the female protagonist will be Anne Hathaway.
“The Idea of You” is a romantic story of revenge and the fight against stereotypes.
The novel’s protagonist is Solène Marchand, a 40-year-old mother and owner of a prestigious art gallery in Los Angeles.
Anne Hathaway falls in love with a British pop star half her age, idolized by her 12-year-old daughter, Isabelle.
“What begins as a series of clandestine encounters quickly evolves into a passionate and genuine relationship,” reads the book’s synopsis, “is a journey across continents as Solène and Hayes shows the way to each other’s worlds: from some stadium tours to international art fairs in Paris and Miami.
Robinne was inspired by Harry Styles himself for the character construction of the male protagonist, which for now does not yet have a face in its transposition in 16: 9 format.
The film will be available on Amazon Prime Video with filming scheduled to begin in October.
The screenplay, written by Jennifer Westfeldt, will have slight differences from the novel.
The protagonist will be called Sophie, and her meeting with her, Hayes Campbell, the 24-year-old singer of the most popular band of the moment, August Moon, will take place at Coachella.
Directed by Michael Showalter, who recently directed the miniseries The Dropout, the films The Eyes of Tammy Faye and Spoiler Alert: The Hero Dies, inspired by the book by Michael Ausiello, which will arrive in American theaters on 2 December.
In addition to being the protagonist, Anne Hathaway is also the project’s producer with Gabrielle Union, Cathy Schulman, Eric Hayes, Jordana Mollick, and Jennifer Westfeldt.
