“At this time, she is in extremely critical condition. She has significant lung injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns requiring surgical intervention. She is in a coma and has not regained consciousness since shortly after the accident.”
The closest relatives and friends of the ‘Volcano’ actress are in a state of ‘shock’ at what happened, since the accident was really spectacular and inexplicable .
It has emerged that the actress was speeding when she suddenly left the road, although sources say that she had already collided with another vehicle a few minutes before.
Leaving the road, Anne Heche hit her car, a blue Mini Cooper, against a house located at 1700 South Walgrove Ave.
After the impact, a large fire started in which the actress was trapped.
According to a Los Angeles Police spokesman, the actress was rushed to the hospital thanks to the help of the fire department, who fought the flames for more than an hour, due to the magnitude of the fire.
After a grueling firefight, they managed to pull her out of the wreckage of her car.
At the moment, the actress suffers from burns all over her body and she is intubated.
