Barbie Ferreira after being the part of Euphoria for two seasons now announced her farewell in TV show.
The cast of Euphoria loses one of its main protagonists: the actress Barbie Ferreira, who in the TV series played the character of Kat Hernandez, has announced her farewell to the show.
The news came (surprisingly) directly from Ferreira’s Instagram page which, within a story, revealed that it will not be present in Euphoria 3.
“After four years of embodying the most special and enigmatic character, Kat, I have to say goodbye with tears in my eyes,” said the 25-year-old actress in her message that surprised fans of Euphoria, whose series stars a group of teenagers struggling with drugs, alcohol, and addictions of all kinds played by beloved actors today such as Zendaya (as Rue), Sydney Sweeney (Cassie), Jacob Elordi (Nate), Alexa Demie (Maddy) and Hunter Schafer ( Jules).

“I wish that many of you might have noticed yourself in her likewise as I have and that her journey brought you joy. I have dedicated all my care and my love to her and I hope you guys can hear it “, continued Barbie in the post before taking leave of Kat with a very sweet: “I love you, Katherine Hernandez.”
Although at the moment the actual reasons that led the actress seen in Euphoria to leave the series have not been disclosed, according to many at the basis of the farewell of Barbie Ferreira there would be disagreements with the show’s producer Sam Levinson, with whom the 25-year-old was told she had had more than one misunderstanding during the making of Euphoria 2 after the character of Kat had been resized in the course of work and that her presence within the series had become increasingly marginal.
