Unveiled previews of Bridgerton 3
On the occasion of the event Tudum: A Netflix Global Fan Event, Coughlan, together with colleagues Claudia Jessie and Luke Newton (the two actors who in the Bridgerton 3 cast respectively interpret Eloise and Colin Bridgerton ), were the protagonists of a decidedly compelling teaser inside of which Nicola has not limited himself to saying that the first episode of the Bridgerton 3 will be titled “Out of the Shadows” (or “Out of the shadows”) but has also read the first lines of the script.
“Dear readers, we’ve been apart for too long,” began Lady Whistledown, whose voice in the series is voiced by Julie Andrews. “London high society has finally made her return, and so has your author. At the start of the season, the question on everyone’s mind is, of course, which new rookie will shine the most? This year’s “harvest” looks genuinely dazzling. Unfortunately, not all young women can attract light “, continued the character played by Nicola Coughlan, who, in Bridgerton 1 and Bridgerton 2, gave a hard time to the English aristocracy, whose frauds were revealed by the always-biting pen by Lady Whistledown.
As for Jessie and Newton, on the other hand, the two actors were shown inside the clip, intent on painting their respective portraits while answering some questions about their characters, where the central theme is, of course, the love story between Penelope and Colin.
Although it has already been announced between the two that he will strike the spark, Luke admitted that the young Bridgerton struggles to see his friend as a possible girlfriend since the two “met when they were very young” and their friendship was born in the way as cute and disinterested as possible.
“When I read the book, I liked the story in which he explains how they met,” explained Luke Newton, referring to the books by Julia Quinn from which the TV series was based on streaming today on Netflix.
“I think that a lot of things are happening to Colin in front of his eyes, but he can’t see them, and this is very frustrating for the fans of the show who, at times, unload that dissatisfaction on me,” continued Luke. After Regé- Jean Page in Bridgerton season 1 and Jonathan Bailey in Bridgerton season 2 will be the male lead in Bridgerton 3.
To intrigue fans of the series will not only be the evolution of the bond between Penelope and Colin but also how Eloise will face the birth of love between the two now that she has discovered that her best friend is the one who hides behind the Lady Whistledown pen.
A revelation that will upset the young woman annoyed not only by the lies she has heard from her friend over the months but also by the wickedness that she has written about her and her family.
“I think it was humiliating for her,” asserted Claudia Jessie before adding that it will not be easy for her character to forget Penelope’s deceptions and, who knows, maybe even her love for Colin.
Could the two young women be the protagonists of a confrontation in Bridgerton season 3?
