Robert Pattinson will begin collaborating with Sothebys dealing with a contemporary art auction to be held in New York on September 30th.
After taking on the role of the young wizard Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, in those of the tormented vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga (on whose set love was also born with his colleague Kristen Stewart ) and in the heroic Batman in “The Batman” alongside Zoë Kravitz, now it’s time for Robert Pattinson to become an art curator.
His preference for aesthetics and innate devotion to art showed Pattinson to choose works by his favorite artists, Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, Willem de Kooning, and Richard Serra, from painting to sculpture.
He was arriving up to college and mixed techniques.
“Acting acknowledged me about interconnection between all forms of art and made the method of curating the deal a fascinating and entertaining experience for me,” stated Pattinson in a press, where he talked about his work as an art curator.
Robert Pattinson’s interest in Art World
“What strikes me is when a work has its language. It doesn’t have to be an end in itself, and it has to have the ability to communicate with you on a primal level,” the actor, now engaged to Suki Waterhouse.
“I oscillate between things that seem very deep, cosmic and alien, and then move on to the other side where the subversive is. I also like bad and slightly dangerous things”, concluded the Tenet star, whose words bode well for a more than exciting auction characterized by impactful works that are never predictable or stale.
