The names of the Baywatch star and Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, may also appear in the show’s cast.
High School Musical: The Musical: The series is returning for a fourth season that could prove to be full of twists and turns.
Although for the moment, no change has been made official within the cast of the TV series taken from the High school musical films, in recent months, there has been much talk of a possible return of Zac Efron to the show.
In July, the actor visited the set of the show, sparking the enthusiasm of the fans of the program, still very attached to the original characters that had led to the success of High School Musical, starting from that Troy Bolton.
The return of Efron ( Lily Collins’ ex-boyfriend ) initially seemed impossible.
Still, with time, it seemed more plausible, especially after the actor seen in Baywatch said he was a possibility about his hypothetical return (perhaps just like Troy).
Zac Efron hopes for “High School Musical” revival
“Having the chance to go back and work with that squad would be great,” he briefed E! News Zac, still very attached to the character who made him known to the general public.
“My heart is still there. It would be unbelievable. On the first High School Musical film set, he also found love with set colleague Vanessa Hudgens, starting a 5-year relationship (from 2005 to 2010) that had made teenagers dream all over the world.
A couple formed by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens who could return to work together very soon, as confirmed by the creator of the HSM series Tim Federle, who has revealed that the show’s production is doing everything to bring the actors back to the set. Troy and Gabriella are originals.
“We would like to have Zac and Vanessa back; we are working on this project right now,” he told TVLine Federle, hinting that in addition to the comeback of Efron and Hudgens, one could also witness that of the iconic Sharpay, played by the talented Ashley Tisdale.
