A renowned Hollywood star said that, during the filming of a movie, she couldn’t concentrate because of her colleague’s beauty
Jason Momoa is best known for playing the DC Comics aquatic hero in ‘Aquaman’ (2018) and ‘Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom’ (2023) and the character Khal Drogo in the series ‘Game Of Thrones’ (2011-2019).
The actor has also worked on major franchises, such as when he played the villain Dante Reyes in ‘Fast & Furious 10’ (2023). The performance left a renowned actress absolutely hooked on him: none other than the South African muse Charlize Theron.
Theron, winner of the Oscar for Best Actress in 2004 for ‘Monster’ (2003), played the character Cipher for the fourth time in the tenth film of the franchise known for always hiring big names.
Although the cast includes Vin Diesel, Brie Larson, Jason Statham, John Cena, Michelle Rodriguez and others, the Oscar winner was surprised by the debutant in the penultimate production of the saga – which should end in 2026 with ‘Fast and Furious 11’.
“What self-confidence! He had an open lace shirt that floated around him, his hair, his body,” said Theron, in an interview with the website ‘ES Euro’, published at the time of the release of the blockbuster.
“He was so impressive that I couldn’t stop looking, until I realized that I was also in the scene and it was my turn to act.”
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Charlize spoke about Jason Momoa’s dedication and professionalism on stage.
“The guy commits himself like I’ve never seen before, he’s so brave that it could even become dramatic, because he really throws himself into it, he gives himself completely,” she declared.
“It’s not a committed kind of thing, a little bit scared. Sometimes I’m like, ‘Wow, you really did it! You went all the way!’” he concluded.
In other words, Charlize Theron’s good impression of Jason Momoa went beyond the form. She also approved of the content.
